New York State’s proposed Cybersecurity Requirements for Financial Services Companies (23 NYCRR 500), which will come into effect on March 1, 2017, mandates a set of cybersecurity practices for financial organizations.
IT Governance can help you as you prepare to implement programs to comply with these new requirements. Our information security experts will share practical insights about implementing a best-practice approach that aligns with the Regulation. This will not only help you meet the requirements but also improve your information security defences and mitigate risks, while maintaining the budget and meeting timeline targets.
In March, IT Governance will launch a series of webinars that cover important aspects of the Regulation. This series will help you build a basic understanding of the Regulation and set the foundations of your own compliance project.
Our first webinar, will be delivered by IT Governance’s founder and executive chairman, Alan Calder, at 10:15am (PST) / 1:15pm (EST) on March 7, 2017. This webinar is designed to provide senior management and boards with a comprehensive understanding of the Regulation and the potential financial and reputation impact the new regulation could have on their business. Alan will also provide guidance on developing policies and procedures that comply with the Regulation and how ISO 27001, the internationally recognized standard, can help you meet the requirements in a timely and cost-effective manner.
