Brian Krebs has reported yesterday that the Trump Hotel Collection has been a victim of a credit card breach.
Eric Trump, executive vice president of development and acquisitions, released a statement explaining an ongoing investigation: “Like virtually every other company these days, we have been alerted to potential suspicious credit card activity and are in the midst of a thorough investigation to determine whether it involves any of our properties,”
Locations that may have been affected include New York, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas.
It’s unlikely that this breach is linked to Donald Trump’s recent comments in the media as Brian Krebs reports that this may date back as far as February.
