Designed by Microsoft, MSF (Microsoft Solutions Framework) is a set of principles, guidelines and concepts for delivering information technology projects. MSF can be used in the development of applications, IT deployment, networking and infrastructure projects. An underlying principle of MSF is that developers can decide which methodology best suits their project.

Project Management Institute
